The winds settled at night and Zanshin got back winded a bit, and unfortunately the chain snubber hook did two very long arcs along my hull and I'm afraid the scratches are deep enough to not buff out! Oh well, I shouldn't worry too much about, since I can't change what happened. But I will redo my snubber line to make sure that it cannot happen again. I sailed to the North Sound today, tacking all the way out to Anegada in order to make it into the channel. While it was a good sail, I arrived just a bit too late to clear customs and immigration and have therefore missed my weather window to get to St. Martin. The weather for the next days looks very bad (for an upwind sail) with winds of over 25 knots and commensurate waves to boot.
