I had a short day at the office, mainly because I ran out of things to do and couldn't reach anyone to give me more tasks; and one can't bill for hours just sitting aboard the boat figuratively twiddling my thumbs; so I closed up the computer for the day and sailed to Great Harbour. I only had the genoa out and was doing quite well against a catamaran with all sails up, but the wind was fickle and weak and soon after they dropped sails and put their engine on I gave my speed a boost with the iron genny as well. My first attempt at anchoring in Great Harbour just dragged my anchor across the hard bottom, but on the second attempt I got a good set and spoke with Jan and Richard regarding having dinner ashore at Corsair's that night. The clouds were full of Sahara dust, which meant that the light showers left a sandy residue on the boat. We had a tasty meal, as always, and stayed ashore until past 22:00, which made it a late night for typical cruisers!
