Same old, same old - home office but in a beautiful location. I used the last day of the car to get a local cellular phone for work plus an internet connectivity USB-Stick with a local cellular company called Lime. Although I'm going to be anchored in locations where I can use Wi-Fi connectivity, this additional backup access method will ensure that I can work uninterrupted. The Wi-Fi at Nanny Cay is fast, but there are a lot of users on it during the day and the speeds vary considerably. There are times where I type a couple of words on the remote system in Denmark and I don't get an echo for several seconds, which is particularly bad if I make a typographical error and need to backspace to the correct location - when the network is slow it makes for guesswork and a lot of extra re-typing.
I went off to drinks at Peg Legs with Cindy and Ian, then we went to Captain Mulligan's for dinner. The two of them braved the “hangover burger” which had such items as a fried egg, beetroot and a slice of pineapple in it; I went the more traditional route of eating a mere cheeseburger which was very tasty indeed. After we'd settled up and were leaving we encountered the crew of a freshly arrived catamaran called Backpacker and had a another couple of rounds to drink with them before returning to our respective boats.

Gill KB1 Racing Jacket delamination The inner white plastic covering delaminated on the jacket, and the first time I used it my bald pate was covered in hard-to-remove white fluff and cleaning the cockpit of the sticky plastic was a lot of work.

My tanks going to inspection My two dive tanks at the shop waiting for the visual inspection. It turned out that they were indeed OK and I could continue to use them.
