Today was the last day for the car so I did my chores in far-away places. I circled around Philipsburg for a bit like a shark, on the lookout for a parking space and was finally rewarded with a suspiciously big and wide parking space which I immediately took and then looked all around for signage about towing or reserved or the like but it was all OK and I went to Boolchands where I let myself get convinced to get the new GoPro black Hero III camera, which I had wanted to get in any case. So both myself and the salesperson had a good experience with regards to bargaining.
Subsequently it was off to the chandleries with my little shopping list for the boat and after a quick lunch at Lagoonies and depositing my new acquisitions on the boat I was off to Barnacle's to meet some old friends and partake of the bar's succulent ribs. Two disappointments upon arrival - ribs are now only on Fridays and my friends didn't show; but nonetheless it was a fun evening at the bar and even the long drive home afterwards wasn't too bad.
Back aboard I put the towel on the foredeck and gazed at the stars for a bit, but after no more than a minute my eyes closed on me and I napped for a bit until I got the energy to get back into the boat and hit the sack.
