Today's agenda consisted of sailing around St. Barths to give Wolfgang a chance to see what a sailboat feels like on all points of sail, with a short stop in Gustavia in order to fill up our larder (Broiled steak is on the agenda for tonight). We had some nice sailing in medium and then very strong wind as a squall passed by, then I tried a new shortcut into the outer Gustavia anchorage which wasn't quite successful in that we ran aground (with almost no forward speed, hitting the bottom rather than the front of the keel) but managed to extricate ourselves and then try a more traditional approach with 10-20 feet of water under the keel.
