Zanshin RSS Feed

In February 2011 I received an e-mail from Israel with a couple of suggestions, among which was the request to add RSS to my site. I'd heard of RSS but had never used it and thus never thought about adding it to Zanshin I's site; but I Googled around a little bit and also tried Google's RSS feed reader and was surprised at what it could do and what possibilities it opened up.

So I went out and looked at how I could add a feed to my site, particularly useful when I'm out sailing and only sporadically updating my blog pages when I get within range of a good WiFi connection to upload the text and pictures. I opted for a popular program and addition to my Dreamweaver software called RSS Dreamfeeder and added that to my software suite on the 22^nd of February 2011 and am slowly starting to play with the possibilities. Initially the RSS feed updates are going to be simple text references to the updated or new pages on the site, but I'll continue to learn and expand the feed capabilities and try to make them useful.
