A sailor's reward
We motored straight into the wind from Great Harbour to Soper's Hole, where we went ashore to do a bit of shopping at the supermarket before continuing on to The Bight on Norman Island via some nice snorkelling around the Indians. The sail in the channel was another comfortable but fast one with averages above 7 and peaks of 9 knots despite 3 reefs in the mainsail.
We started happy hour a bit early but somehow both Carmen and Bernd volunteered to help me wash the topsides of Zanshin I with the AwlWash solution that I had purchased but never used. We chose a good point in time since the winds were almost nonexistent and there was no swell or barely even ripples in the Bight and we made very good progress. Dinner was at Pirates and all of us chose their Ribs and they did indeed almost fall of the bone. After dinner we motored over to the Willies T's and had a couple of drinks, but it was about 9:30 and the night had barely begun there - yet I for one could barely keep my eyes open so we left quickly.
