One of the most respected names in the industry for compressed air is Bauer (a German company) and I have placed an order for their Junior II electric model with the yachting package. This will fit into one of the lazarette lockers and can fill a standard-sized air bottle in about 20 minutes. It uses a large amount of power, so will only work while hooked up to shore power or when the generator is running; but it will let me be independent of shore-based dive shops tanks and air supply. Another aspect is that these compressor are very loud and need to be mounted in a location where they are accessible as they need to cleaned after every use and also frequently maintained.
